Patriotism comes in different forms. When I served the country for a year in Vietnam, I thought I was being patriotic. But, as it turns out I was wrong.
However, other autonomous car developers, led by Google's Waymo, are putting in a lot of driverless test miles as this graph from Statista shows:.
